Piano Lessons
in your home or church settingHello, my name is Will Benton. I have been teaching piano for many years to students of all ages and at all levels of playing. I teach children as young as age 4 as well as mature adults. I stress the importance of theory, technique, artistry and music history.
I am a graduate of the University of Louisville, Kentucky and have taught in a local performing arts school plus worked with other school programs. Along with being a classically trained pianist I am also a vocalist and the organist at The Park Lake Presbyterian Church here in Orlando.
I have always been involved in church music. My home church is Winter Park United Methodist. I am a Professional Accompanist/Performer and enjoy working with other professional musicians all over the country. As a teacher, my mission is to prepare students for performance opportunities, personal enjoyment, accompanying programs and choirs in school or places of worship.
I stress positive reinforcement and customize each lesson in a way that enriches the learning experience. Encouragement, support, patience, enthusiasm and respect are important elements for learning such a grand instrument as piano.
I currently have openings and references if needed.
Instruction is available in the students home or at The Park Lake Presbyterian Church.
